Summary
Regulation (EU) 2019/2144 establishes EU type-approval requirements for vehicle general safety and the protection of occupants and vulnerable road users. It provides the legislative basis for EU technical measures addressing automated and fully automated vehicles, including the implementing framework for automated driving systems.
