Summary
Germany permits Level 4-type autonomous vehicles to operate without an onboard driver only within a legally defined operating area and with a dedicated technical-supervision architecture.
Význam
The German model demonstrates that vehicle technical approval and lawful road operation are separate regulatory gates; the ODD is translated into an authority-approved geographic operating area.
