EDR a DSSAD / EDR and DSSAD
Čo sa zaznamená pri nehode? · What is recorded in a crash?
EDR zaznamenáva údaje o vozidle tesne pred udalosťou a počas nárazu na neskoršie získanie. DSSAD podľa R157 umožňuje určiť interakcie medzi ALKS a vodičom. Záznamy sa dopĺňajú; nejde o zameniteľné systémy ani o samostatné rozhodnutie o právnej zodpovednosti.
EDR records vehicle data just before an event and during a crash for subsequent retrieval. DSSAD under R157 enables determination of interactions between ALKS and the driver. The records complement each other; the systems are not interchangeable and do not themselves determine legal liability.

The connection is explicit: R157 paragraph 8.2.1(g) also lists an EDR trigger input. This comparison uses R160's authentic 01-series base (2021/58), paragraph 2.11, and R157's 01-series base (2022/59/Rev.1), paragraphs 2.15, 8.2.1 and 8.3.1. These are identified versions, not a combined consolidated text.

Čo mení séria 02 / What the 02 series changes
Séria 02 vstúpila do platnosti 15. júna 2024 (C.N.271.2024). Nový oddiel 6 zavádza overovanie presnosti zaznamenaného pozdĺžneho a priečneho zrýchlenia. Tolerancia podľa bodu 6.1.5 je ±10 % plného rozsahu akcelerometra, nie ±10 % každej nameranej hodnoty. Bod 6.1.6 pripúšťa pri porovnaní časové zarovnanie ±2 ms. Príloha 4 pri príslušných údajoch po náraze zachováva podmienku „If Recorded“.
The 02 series entered into force on 15 June 2024 (C.N.271.2024). New section 6 introduces verification of recorded longitudinal and lateral acceleration accuracy. Paragraph 6.1.5 uses ±10% of the full accelerometer range, not ±10% of each measured value. Paragraph 6.1.6 allows ±2 ms time alignment for the comparison. Annex 4 retains “If Recorded” for the relevant post-crash data.

Od 1. septembra 2024 nie je povinné uznávať schválenia série 01 prvýkrát udelené po 1. septembri 2024. Schválenia série 01 prvýkrát udelené pred týmto dátumom sa musia uznávať do 1. septembra 2026.
From 1 September 2024, acceptance is not compulsory for 01-series approvals first issued after 1 September 2024. Those first issued before that date must be accepted until 1 September 2026.
- 12.9–12.10 · Výnimka / Exception
Od 1. septembra 2026 zaniká všeobecná povinnosť uznávať sériu 01. Naďalej sa však musia uznávať schválenia vozidiel, ktorých sa zmeny série 02 netýkajú. Ide o pravidlá uznávania typových schválení zmluvnými stranami uplatňujúcimi R160; dátum sám osebe nezakazuje prevádzku existujúceho vozidla.
From 1 September 2026, the general obligation to accept the 01 series ends. Approvals for vehicles unaffected by the 02-series changes must nevertheless continue to be accepted. These rules concern acceptance of type approvals by Contracting Parties applying R160; the date does not itself prohibit operation of an existing vehicle.

Doplnok 1 k sérii 01 (2022/26) pridáva nové definície. Osem z nich uvádzame s pôvodnými číslami vložených bodov a pracovnými slovenskými prekladmi. Skutočnosť, že dokument série 02 nemení oddiel 2, neznamená, že možno bez overenia preniesť číslovanie zo základného textu série 01. Úplnú konsolidáciu tu netvrdíme.
Supplement 1 to the 01 series (2022/26) adds definitions. Eight are quoted with their original insertion numbers and working Slovak translations. The fact that the 02-series amendment does not amend section 2 does not justify carrying over numbering from the 01-series base without verification. No complete consolidation is claimed here.

Corr.1 to Add.159/Rev.1 corrects the 01-series entry-into-force date to 22 April 2022. Corr.1 to Rev.1/Amend.1 corrects the designation to Supplement 1 to the 01 series, effective 8 October 2022. These title-page corrections are not themselves new definitions.

Séria 02 zavádza postup overovania presnosti údajov o pozdĺžnom a priečnom zrýchlení EDR a mení súvisiace technické údaje. Podľa bodov 12.7–12.10 sa mení povinnosť uznávania schválení série 01 k 1. 9. 2024 a 1. 9. 2026; výnimka zostáva pre vozidlá, ktorých sa zmeny série 02 netýkajú.
Zmena povinnosti uznávania schválení nie je automatickým zákazom prevádzky existujúceho vozidla. Oddiel 2 s definíciami tento zmenový dokument nemení.
English explanation
The 02 series introduces verification of EDR longitudinal and lateral acceleration accuracy and changes related technical data. Paragraphs 12.7–12.10 change the obligation to accept 01-series approvals on 1 September 2024 and 1 September 2026, retaining an exception for vehicles unaffected by the 02-series changes.
The change in the obligation to accept approvals is not an automatic ban on operating an existing vehicle. This amendment document does not change section 2 definitions.
